U-Sikshak: Learning through ubiquitous technologies

U-Sikshak is the application where Web, Ubiquitous and Grid technologies are blended to provide ubiquitous learning. It enables the learner to access the learning content ubiquitously using various mobile devices and wireless technologies. Radio Frequency Identification, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi technologies are used to provide context based intelligent learning and CC/PP technology is used to render the content according to the device capabilities and user profile. Grid is used as a server to host web services as well as content repository. U-chat, video streaming, context based user alerts, content rendering using CC/PP are some of the features of u-sikshak.
